The Supper Mario Broth Twitter account, @MarioBrothBlog, has reached 700 posts. Here is a collage of select images from among the recent contributions on that account.
The Twitter updates daily with obscure Mario images and trivia. Please note that there is no overlap in content between the main blog and the Twitter, so following both will not result in experiencing duplicate posts.
In Wario Land 4, the music in the Domino Row level is deliberately slow, and speeds up to a tempo more common for level music only when Wario activates the dominoes. However, due to the dominoes being a timed event, it is impossible to listen to the full song at this speed. Here is an entire loop of the Domino Row music at “active dominoes” speed. (Sound recorded by me in a GBA emulator.)
In Super Mario Bros. 2, a shortcut exists on top of the waterfall in Level 3-1 that requires jumping over a large gap to the left of the vine. The jump is easily done with Luigi or Princess Peach due to their enhanced jumping abilities, but even Mario and Toad are able to reach the door by using this trick. The small decorative clouds over the pit are coded to allow throwable objects to stand on them. Thus, it is possible to throw a Mushroom Block on one of the clouds and jump across as any character.

Normally, in Donkey Kong Country, whenever Diddy Kong loses a bonus game, he will take off his hat and then continue to stomp on it angrily. However, in the second bonus room in Millstone Mayhem, is it possible to disrupt this animation by positioning Diddy on the right archway at the same time the bonus game is lost. Diddy will slide down the archway, throw down his hat, and proceed to stomp the ground while the hat is lying a few feet away from him.
