The music that plays in the Sunken Ship in Super Mario RPG has the creaking of the ship embedded into the music. The SNES sound format has 8 channels of samples that play simultaneously; one of the channels is dedicated to the creaking sounds. By modifying the code to only play the other 7 channels, we can remove the creaking from the music, resulting in this “clean” version.

The model used for Bowser in the intro to Super Mario 3D World, where his lower half is inside the Clear Pipe. The in-game appearance can be seen in the bottom left. Interestingly, the official Prima guide for the game contained a shot of this scene from the pre-release version (bottom right), giving a clearer view of the tubular portion of Bowser’s body.

Doshin the Giant was only released in Japan and Europe, but players in North America may recognize him from trophies featured in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

In Super Mario World, if all four Reznors are defeated extremely quickly (usually possible only with very precise movement), one Reznor will remain in the room instead of disappearing, floating in mid-air as shown in the footage.
