While Shy Guy’s feet attach directly to his body most of the time, his model in Mario Party 9 has legs that become visible in some animations. Here is Shy Guy’s model with his legs extended to their maximum length.

New methods have since revealed that the trophy’s eyes were in fact normal, and got corrupted due to the old program used to access the data.
