In Mario Kart Wii, using a POW Block or Lightning Bolt on the N64 Sherbet Land track will make the big penguin in the middle of the lake spin around.
Due to the high amount of polygons in the models used by the Gearmo robots in Super Mario Galaxy, they have two low-polygon models, while most other NPCs only have one. In particular, the rounded teeth of the gears in the high-polygon model are a strain on the game’s engine, so they are replaced with square teeth when the Gearmo is not viewed from up close, and 2D cutout teeth when it is far away.
