In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is possible to walk backwards by jumping while in Paper Mode, then letting go of R while in mid-air, and finally performing a Ground Pound. Mario will walk backwards until the direction is changed. If Mario touches a hazard, such as falling into water, he will spin once again after taking damage, as shown in the footage.

In Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Yoshi is able to perform an extremely high jump through a glitch involving his Custom 1 option for his up special attack, High Jump. If Yoshi jumps, then performs a down special, then the High Jump, he will jump so high into the air that he will not come down onscreen for 7 seconds.

Three officially licensed 1985 Super Mario Bros. eraser sets from Japan, each featuring one eraser of Mario and one of an enemy from the game. Of note is that while Mario’s artwork is taken directly from the Japanese box art for the game, the other artwork seems to be made specifically for the eraser sets; note the unique hexagonal body shape of the Koopa Paratroopa.

In Yoshi’s Island, spitting out an enemy on the same frame as running through a Checkpoint Ring will result in Yoshi assuming a glitched state where his cheeks are always puffed despite having nothing in his mouth. Yoshi is still able to stick out his tongue, but it is rendered completely useless since it does not interact with any objects, as seen in the footage where his tongue goes through the Shy Guys. Entering a different room resets Yoshi’s state to normal.
