The Stone-Eye statues seen in New Super Mario Bros. U/Deluxe have a lower part consisting of a dark rectangular column that is always hidden below sand or behind walls in-game. However, in several unused levels found in the game’s data, the Stone-Eyes are positioned in such a way that the hidden part is visible. The bottom footage shows that Stone-Eyes were intended to be used even outside desert levels, as well.

Top: In the final battle of Yoshi’s Island, Giant Baby Bowser will slowly approach the screen. When he is so close to the screen that he completely covers the sky, the middle platforms of the arena will be destroyed. If the player manages to shoot an egg upward during this period in such a way that it deals the final hit to Baby Bowser, his defeat animation will play as Yoshi falls off screen.
Bottom: After the cutscene where Kamek and Baby Bowser escape, Yoshi will suddenly appear in mid-air and float to the right until he reaches the platform, whereupon the cutscene will resume playing normally.

In Cool, Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64, if the baby penguin is released in a specific spot at the edge of the mother penguin’s pond after being returned, it will make a high jump as it walks around in a circle. The baby penguin is normally incapable of jumping and will only do it in this specific scenario.

In Super Mario World, it is possible to create Koopas from empty shells under specific circumstances. In the footage, Mario is carrying an empty shell while riding a Lava Lift over a ledge made of lava. If the shell is allowed to touch lava for a single frame before being thrown upward, it will transform into a shell with a Koopa inside.
When the shell falls down, the Koopa can be seen emerging from it. Unfortunately, there are no spots in the game where it is possible for the Koopa to land on solid ground after this, so the Koopa must unfortunately fall into lava, existing only for around one second from being created to being destroyed.
