The ending theme to Paper Mario Sticker Star has two phases: saxophone-only and saxophone with orchestra. In-game, this is achieved by separating the music into two track: saxophone and orchestra. It is impossible to hear the second track in-game by itself. Here it is isolated.

In Super Mario Advance 2, Luigi’s jumping animation is his Bicycle Jump originating in Super Mario Bros. 2. During the Bicycle Jump, Luigi does not raise his hand in the air as Mario does during his regular jumping animation, or Luigi himself does in the games where he doesn’t use the Bicycle Jump.
However, there is a single frame during his jump where Luigi uses the regular “fist raised” animation, which is very hard to see in-game. At the apex of his jump, he raises his fist abruptly for 1/60 of a second before lowering it again. Top: regular speed footage, middle: slowed down, bottom: exact frame.

In Chapter 1-4 of Super Paper Mario, there is a door floating in mid-air that can be accessed by activating two blocks below it so Mario can stand on them to open the door. However, if Mario walks past the door as the player presses Up to open it, Mario can fall off the blocks by the time the command is registered by the game.
What results is Mario performing his door-entering animation despite being below the door. His AI will attempt to find a path to the middle of the door, which is not possible due to him being on a different elevation. He will walk towards the spot below the middle of the door and then disappear while the door will open and close without anyone entering it.

In Super Mario Bros. 3, there is a Paragoomba near the beginning of Level 3-9. If Small Mario hits the sixth brick block in this long row of blocks, a Super Mushroom will come out. Hitting the Super Mushroom from below will result in the Paragoomba dying due to an oversight in the code that causes the hit to be registered not just for the Super Mushroom, but also certain other types of objects if they are present on-screen.

In 2013, a post on Supper Mario Broth showcased the original voice of Yoshi’s voice actor, Kazumi Totaka, restored by slowing down the voice samples used in Yoshi’s Story by 50%. However, that post did not include every single sample Totaka recorded for Yoshi, as not all of them have been extracted from the game at the time. Thanks to a new rip by sounds-resource.com user “Cooper B. Chance”, we can now hear all of Totaka’s samples in original quality.
