In Luigi’s Mansion 3, Luigi and Gooigi have different behaviors for being hit with each other’s Suction Shot. If Luigi shoots it at Gooigi, it will fly through him with a goo splash effect (top). If Gooigi shoots it at Luigi, it will stick to his head for a few seconds before dissipating (bottom).

In Luigi’s Mansion 3, the AI used for characters following Luigi sometimes causes them to turn around in circles if Luigi takes a certain path. Immediately after rescuing E. Gadd in the beginning of the game, descending the stairs on the right side with Luigi in the manner depicted will result in E. Gadd running in a circle indefinitely until Luigi approaches him again.

In the highest difficulty of the “Spin a Yarn” microgame in WarioWare: Touched, the sweater reveals Luigi when unrolled; there is otherwise no Mario- or Luigi-related content in the microgame. This is the only instance of a microgame in the WarioWare series that contains Luigi without also containing Mario.

Luigi can receive depending on amount of money collected at the end of Luigi’s Mansion for the Nintendo 3DS. In this version, an “S” rank has been added that was not present in the original, unlockable by collecting 130,000,000G in the Hidden Mansion. Compare the houses from the original version here.

Luigi has been playable in every game in the Mario Party series. He appears on all covers of the Mario Party games (sometimes as the smallest character, as in the case of Mario Party 9; or only in an extremely tiny screenshot, as in the case of Mario Party: The Top 100) except one: Mario Party Advance.
