A glitch in Super Mario 64 DS can be used to force the camera to zoom out much farther than normally possible. Simply position the player character on the elevator leading down to Dorrie’s lake in Hazy Maze Cave and enter first-person view. The camera will immediately begin zooming out and continue zooming out until a button is pressed.

Top: In Mario Kart 64, driving into the rotating Mario sign in Mario Raceway while using a Super Star will result in the sign flying into the sky. While this is hard to see from the perspective of the player driving into the sign, it can be more easily seen from a distance (note the sign flying upward on Luigi’s screen).
Bottom: Moving the camera allows us to follow the sign. The sign flies high above the track before being unloaded.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario can be controlled on the file select menu, with the options menu being accessible by moving Mario to the right. In the file select menu, Mario does not sweat. No matter how much time passes, his idle animation consists of merely looking around. However, the moment Mario enters the options menu, he begins visibly sweating, and will continue sweating until exiting back to the file select menu.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, when Luigi is hypnotized during the Little Fungitown story event to believe that he is Mario, approaching Princess Peach will have her tell Luigi “You’re face looks so much more… manly!”, which contains the common grammatical error of using “you’re” in place of “your”.
