By flying and then performing a Ground Pound above one of the pillars in Shifting Sand Land in Super Mario 64, Mario will get stuck inside the stone as though it was sand. (Footage of the Virtual Console version recorded by me in a Wii emulator.)
An episode of the British television show Bad Influence contained extremely early beta footage of Super Mario 64. What makes their recording different from most available beta footage is that they were able to also record the sound. Here are two snippets of the show where the host talks over the game, but if you listen closely, you will be able to hear Mario’s beta voice, recorded before Charles Martinet joined the project. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is possible to force Princess Peach to assume Paper Mode or Tube Mode by using a glitch to enter a chapter’s last cutscene with Mario in Paper Mode and then continuing to hold R until Peach is being controlled. Note that in Tube Mode, Peach can jump, which she cannot do normally. (Source)
