Unused sitar version of the Diddy Kong Racing Player Select theme, indicating Taj the Genie was supposed to be unlockable at some point. He became unlockable in the remake on the Nintendo DS. (Source)
The Japanese version of the attorney speech in Super Mario Sunshine. Note the different inflections of the words, saying “Isle Delfino” as “Delfino Isle”, and mispronouncing “Shine” as “Shrine”. (Source)
The Yoshi’s Island athletic music edited to remove the main melody. (Music recorded by me in a SNES emulator.)
The credits music for Mario vs. Donkey Kong, with Mario commenting on some of the development team. It’s impossible to separate his voice entirely, but he speaks slightly more clearly on the right sound channel, which is presented here. (Music recorded by me in a GBA emulator.)
Main theme from Sonic Jam 6, a pirate hack of the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros with Mario replaced by Sonic for the Sega Genesis. (Source)
The Super Mario Bros. main theme modified to remove the high lead instrument. (Music recorded by me in a NES emulator.)
The credits music from Donkey Kong ‘94 when played on a Super Game Boy. It was the first game to be designed to have Super Game Boy enhancements, and one of the very few games to have a Super Nintendo sound format song coded on a Game Boy cartridge. (Music recorded by me in a SGB emulator.)
The main theme of Super Mario Bros. 3 from Super Mario All-Stars modified to remove the lead instrument. (Music recorded by me in a SNES emulator.)
