In the Mario Kart DS kiosk demo version, a Chain Chomp item appears in the item roulette (slowed down here for visibility), but is impossible to actually obtain, as the roulette never stops on it. The Chain Chomp item is absent in the game’s final release. (Footage recorded by me from a DS emulator.)

In Super Mario RPG, Blade, the Axem Rangers’ battleship, is always located behind Barrel Volcano, even after the Axem Rangers are defeated. In this footage, I disable the layer the volcano is drawn on while Mario is falling to show the battleship hidden behind it. (Footage recorded by me with a SNES emulator.)
The Japanese version of the ending cutscene of Western Land in Mario Party 2 plays out differently from the international version. While in all other versions, the player character and Bowser shoot each other with corks that can be seen flying through the air, the projectiles in the Japanese version are too small to be visible, which implies that the characters are using conventional bullets instead. In Super Mario 64 DS, it is possible to perform a glitch that results in Tall, Tall Mountain becoming flooded. To achieve this, take the owl near the start of the level and fly to the other side of the mountain, then let go in such a way that the player character falls onto the ledge near the mushrooms. From there, jump to the small mushroom with a warp on it. After warping, the level should be tinted blue and filled with invisible water. (Footage recorded by me from a DS emulator.)
