In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is possible for Vivian to get stuck in ceilings or in mid-air.
In Super Mario 64, there are two paintings on the second floor of Peach’s Castle that do not seem to correspond to any specific levels. However, by paying close attention to design elements on the third floor, we can see that they reference Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride. The starry background is the wall around the clock tree and the sun with the clouds is the texture that can be seen through the entrance to Rainbow Ride.

In Super Mario Galaxy, whenever Mario drowns in a swamp, his hand reaches out from under the surface before being sucked in. However, since Mario’s head is so big, he cannot raise his hand above the surface without his head being still visible. To solve this, the game simply shrinks Mario’s head so it doesn’t interfere with the animation.
In Super Mario World, it is possible to activate the “hurry up” jingle and subsequent speed increase in the background music repeatedly. In Funky, the last level of the Special World, there are 9 green Berries positioned around the level. If you wait until the timer reaches 99 seconds, then eat a Berry, the music will become faster, but the timer will go back to 119 seconds. Once it reaches 99 seconds again, this can be repeated with another Berry. Near the end of the stage, the music will sound like this.
