In Level 7-1 of Donkey Kong Country Returns, Foggy Fumes, there is a window at the end of the level that shows an unusual environment. Zooming in, we can see a painted landscape that is not used anywhere else in the game.
An odd oversight in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Whenever you exit a house in Fahr Outpost, you can see a chimney disappear shortly after the door closes. The reason for this is that the fireplace inside the house and the chimney are the same object, and that object is only loaded when Mario is inside the house, and unloaded when he exits.
In Super Mario Galaxy, whenever you go into first-person view, Mario’s model undergoes a change for the few frames it takes for the camera to zoom in: he loses his shading and his eyes become blank. Normally this happens in a fraction of a second; here it is slowed down.
