In Cool, Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64, if the baby penguin is released in a specific spot at the edge of the mother penguin’s pond after being returned, it will make a high jump as it walks around in a circle. In Super Mario World, it is possible to create Koopas from empty shells under specific circumstances. In the footage, Mario is carrying an empty shell while riding a Lava Lift over a ledge made of lava. If the shell is allowed to touch lava for a single frame before being thrown upward, it will transform into a shell with a Koopa inside.

When the shell falls down, the Koopa can be seen emerging from it. Unfortunately, there are no spots in the game where it is possible for the Koopa to land on solid ground after this, so the Koopa must unfortunately fall into lava, existing only for around one second from being created to being destroyed.
