In Super Mario 64, if one of the Bullies on this large platform in Lethal Lava Land is pushed into the lava at a specific angle, instead of dying, the Bully will oscillate inside the lava as seen in the footage. This does not count as defeating the Bully, resulting in the Big Bully that would normally appear when defeating all the Bullies on this platform never spawning, requiring the course to be re-entered to retry that mission.

In Super Mario World, properties of flight are conserved while climbing. If Mario clings to a climbable surface while flying, he will resume flying as soon as he lets go. In addition, he retains the extra hit that flight normally grants, as seen near the end of the footage where he is hit by a Koopa Troopa but does not lose his Cape Mario form. Thus, it is advisable to always start flying before clinging to ropes and fences if possible.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Pianta Village contains a tree that grows all five of the game’s different types of fruit. If the durian is taken down from the tree and brought close to its trunk, approaching the durian from a specific angle will result in Mario becoming stuck in a loop of kicking it and the trunk reflecting it back. This causes a large cloud of particle effects to be created, as seen in the footage.

In Super Mario 64, Wet-Dry World features platforms that float on the surface of the water. If the water level is lowered and Mario swims under one of these platforms, it will cover Mario; but instead of crushing him, Mario will be able to move inside the platform.

One glitch that occurs in this specific situation is that whenever Mario crawls, he will briefly teleport to the top of the platform; however, as soon as he stops crawling, he will teleport back inside.
