In Mario Power Tennis, Shy Guy’s celebration cutscene shows him tripping in front of Luigi, causing his mask to fall off. Luigi is shocked at what’s behind the mask, but the camera doesn’t show it to the player. This is what Luigi sees.
In most 3D video games, some objects in a room are always loaded, while some load only whenever they are in view of the camera or near the player. Sometimes objects that are always loaded interact with objects that unload, like these Shy Guys in Mario Kart Wii.
