In Super Mario 64, landing in quicksand from a tall enough height will result in Mario becoming stuck as though it was regular sand. After freeing himself, Mario will promptly die.
The doors in Wet-Dry World in Super Mario 64 (left) and the Forest Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (right) look remarkably similar. The wood grain on certain parts of the doors matches up enough to suggest that the textures might have been created using the same assets, which is likely given that these games share several other textures.
In Super Mario 64, pushing the movable box at the top of the stage in Wet-Dry World under another platform in the manner depicted allows Mario to crawl on air between the box and the platform.
In the ending to Super Mario 64, Peach walks away in the direction of the castle and calls for Mario from offscreen, whereupon Mario runs off in the same direction Peach went. Moving the camera during the cutscene reveals that Peach simply stops once she is outside the field of view, and that Mario runs through her on his way to the castle.
Trees in Super Mario 64 always tilt to be perpendicular to the direction the camera is facing.
In Super Mario 64, Mario is not affected by the fog effect in Tick Tock Clock.
