In Super Mario Bros. 3, Frog Mario’s hitbox extends further than his body to include the space below his head. As a result, Frog Mario can hang onto platforms next to him without standing on them. This applies to all versions of the game.

In Super Mario Bros. 3, hitting a black Muncher with Raccoon Mario’s tail will turn it into a Used Block. This also works in the Super Mario All-Stars version, but was fixed for the Super Mario Advance 4 version.
