1989 licensed Super Mario Bros. “Favorite Mushroom Party Hits” music cassette. The compilation contains no music from the Mario series.
The Super Mario Bros. 3 title screen contains a subtle reference to Super Mario Bros. in the palette of the “3″ in the logo. The number cycles through the exact same colors that the Question Blocks in Super Mario Bros. cycle through. Note that the Question Blocks in Super Mario Bros. 3 itself do not use this palette, so the reference is likely to have been deliberate.
