In Super Mario RPG, Blade, the Axem Rangers’ battleship, is always located behind Barrel Volcano, even after the Axem Rangers are defeated. In this footage, I disable the layer the volcano is drawn on while Mario is falling to show the battleship hidden behind it. (Footage recorded by me with a SNES emulator.)

In a room in the Pipe Vault in Super Mario RPG, it is possible to make Mario slide through a small opening by running at it and pressing Down immediately before reaching it. This is the only room in the game where this is possible.
