A Super Mario variety blog.
Screenshots, photos, sprites, gifs, scans and more from all around the world of Super Mario Bros.

In Super Mario World, if a Baby Yoshi attempts to eat an enemy at the exact time it transforms into an adult Yoshi, the enemy will become glitched and will no longer be possible to interact with. Mario and Yoshi will pass through it, and Yoshi will not be able to eat it. (Footage recorded by me in a SNES emulator.)
Illustrations from a Japanese guide for Super Mario World in the style of the Super Mario-kun manga.
Extremely rare official artwork of Mario holding up a Super Koopa, found in a set of Super Mario World pogs.
A scene from a Super Mario World manga shares a high degree of similarity with a scene from the “Mama Luigi” episode of the Super Mario World cartoon.
In Super Mario World, jumping on the platforms in Vanilla Ghost House in the order shown will produce a hidden 1-Up. The reason is that four of the platforms contain special control points that, if touched in order, will generate a 1-Up when Mario touches the last one.
