A glitch in Paper Mario: Color Splash can cause Mario to become temporarily tilted, affecting all his animations. After Plum Park is cleared of poison, position a floating bucket near a bridge in the manner depicted, hit it with the hammer several times so it shakes, then quickly hop in and out of the bucket. As long as Mario is moving, he will be tilted proportionally to how much the bucket was shaking when he jumped out. If Mario stops moving, he will return to normal.

Top: when the Chilean Club Nintendo magazine first began publishing in 1992, the section where the editor asked for the readers to send in letters had a hand-drawn illustration of Mario holding a quill next to an inkwell.
Bottom: however, starting with 1998, to reflect the changing times and prevalent means of communication, this was replaced with a 3D render of Mario’s hands typing on a keyboard.

The regular way to obtain them is via a code distributed by Nintendo Power; however, alternate ways of obtaining them are available for those without access to the magazine. Very rarely, a villager may bury a Mario statue somewhere and post about it on the bulletin board; while the Luigi statue may be sold at Crazy Redd’s store.
