In Super Mario Sunshine, there is a Yoshi Juice barrier on the roof of a building near the lighthouse in Delfino Plaza. Dissolving the barrier reveals an alcove, which upon closer inspection turns out to be lined with tiny windows and doors.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is the only Mario game that has ever received a logo in Russian (despite Nintendo of Russia releasing official translated versions since 2011), which is fitting considering the fact that it is the only Mario game where the plot takes place entirely in Russia.

In the Mr. Blizzard’s Brigade minigame in Mario Party 4, the characters are reflected in the icy floor beneath them. Moving the camera to view the reflection, we can see that it is looking in a different direction than the original.
