Top: Luigi’s model from Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Bottom: Upon closer inspection, the buttons on Luigi’s overalls are not flat discs, but instead stakes that are driven into Luigi’s body. By taking them out of the main model, we can see their shape.

In most of his appearances, Yoshi’s mouth contains no teeth. These are the only two pieces of official art that show Yoshi with teeth.

Top: a piece of official art for Mario Kart: Double Dash. Note Mario’s determined expression and closed mouth.

Bottom: Zooming in on Mario’s reflection in the kart, then rotating and enhancing the contrast reveals that the reflection’s expression is different, with his mouth being open.

In Luigi’s Mansion, a severed puppet head is lying on a table in the Clockwork Room. Upon inspecting it, Luigi remarks that he has been wanting to have one of those for a while.
