In Super Paper Mario, a Nintendo DS Lite-shaped computer called the Dining Specializer can be found in the restaurants in Flipside and Flopside. When it is turned on, the top screen displays a logo, but in-game, the screen is too small to see it clearly. Below is the texture used for the logo. It’s a reference to the game’s developer, Intelligent Systems.
Since Toad’s arms are too short to correctly handle a steering wheel, he is given a special long-armed model in the Mario Kart series.

In the Slimy Spring Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2, the fog effect inside the cave extends to the final outside portion of the level when it is active. So for the majority of the level, the outside looks like the top picture, until Mario’s arrival clears out the fog and results in the bottom picture.
