In the first mission of Ricco Harbor in Super Mario Sunshine, “Gooper Blooper Breaks Out”, there is an invisible barrel near the start of the level that only appears once the boss battle against Gooper Blooper begins. If Mario leaves the boss and backtracks to the beginning of the level, jumping in the spot shown in the footage will cause Mario to appear to stand in mid-air.
The barrel only has collision at the top and not at the sides, meaning it cannot be picked up and only functions as an invisible platform.

In five of the kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey, Mario meets a Shiba Inu wearing a hat. The dog will dig up spots in the ground where coins and Power Moons can be found by Ground Pounding. Whenever Mario throws Cappy, the dog will chase after him, attempting to catch him and return him to Mario.
In the Metro Kingdom, it is possible to accidentally cause the dog to jump off the edge of a building into the abyss below. Normally, the fence prevents the dog from jumping off, however, the dog is able to climb the bench shown in the footage if Cappy is above the abyss, and jump after Cappy.
The dog will reappear
in its original location shortly after falling off the building.

In Super Mario Maker 2′s Story Mode, whenever Mario takes on a job, he will jump and remain suspended in mid-air as the screen fades out and the gameplay segment begins (top). Looking closely at his jump animation, we can see that his leg clips through his tool belt (bottom). While clipping of this kind is relatively common for singular frames in the middle of animations, the camera lingers on this shot for a few seconds, making it more apparent than it would be otherwise.

In Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the screens on the Mario Kart Stadium track are not affected by the mirror effect in Mirror Mode. Note how in the screenshot, Mario is holding the shell in his right hand and the “CUP” letters on the ground in front of him are mirrored, but the jumbotron screen displays him holding the shell in his left hand and the letters not being mirrored.

A rough recreation of the world map of Super Mario World in 8-bit graphics, found in an unlicensed port of Super Mario World to the NES. The map retains the major features of the original but is adjusted for the lack of subscreens (i.e. Forest of Illusion) and a fewer total number of levels.
