An episode of the British television show Bad Influence contained extremely early beta footage of Super Mario 64. What makes their recording different from most available beta footage is that they were able to also record the sound. Here are two snippets of the show where the host talks over the game, but if you listen closely, you will be able to hear Mario’s beta voice, recorded before Charles Martinet joined the project.
