During Bowser’s victory cutscene in Mario Power Tennis (top images), a red Birdo jumps towards him from offscreen. Moving the camera during this scene reveals that the Birdo is suspended in midair in a jumping pose from the moment the scene starts.

In Super Mario World, it’s possible to accidentally lose a life through a glitch by stepping on a falling springboard near a Bullet Bill Blaster. This is easiest to do in the Outrageous level in the Special Zone. (Footage recorded by me in a SNES emulator.)

In Super Mario 64, getting hit by the piano in Big Boo’s Haunt and then moving into the piano’s hitbox will make Mario never exit his blinking invulnerable state, making him completely safe from the piano. In fact, Mario is so safe that after not moving for a while, he will fall asleep with the piano still trying to chase him. (Footage recorded by me in a N64 emulator.)
A licensed Paper Mario-themed board game from China contains a number of Mario assets from different games, such as Super Mario 64, but among them is this Whomp-like original character. This brick creature appears in four illustrations in the game’s manual and pieces, which are all compiled here.
