At the Nintendo of America headquarters, the sections of the building are themed after various Nintendo characters, with the rooms in them being given names fitting the theme of the section. Here is a sign showing the Wario section with the “Waluigi”, “Diamond City”, “9-Volt” and “Warioware” conference rooms.

The AGB Aging Cartridge was a Game Boy Advance cartridge used by Nintendo customer service to test the condition of Game Boy Advance system components for age-related wear and broken functionality. One of the functions was a sound test that played a single track, called “Wario” internally. This track is composed in the style of WarioWare: Touched, and slightly resembles the music that plays in the “Big Hurl” souvenir in that game, but is otherwise completely original and only appears in this test cartridge.

The last level of Wario Land 4, the Golden Passage, starts off by Wario falling directly from the entrance onto a Frog Switch, starting the escape countdown. This also causes the “Hurry Up!” music to play, meaning that the level seemingly has no regular music of its own.
However, if cheats are used to remove the Frog Switch and Wario can enter the level without activating the countdown, it is revealed that the level does contain this unique music track, which can never be heard under normal circumstances.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wario never blinks. He is the only playable character with visible eyes outside of ROB, who is a robot, and Olimar, whose eyes are always closed, that does not have a blinking animation.

Unused cactus enemy found in the data of Wario Land: Shake It. The enemy would mask itself as a regular potted cactus and then attack when Wario is near, turning upside down so the pot becomes its hat and the flowers become its feet.

Unused early Wario animations found in the data of Wario: Master of Disguise. These use prerendered frames of a 3D model, similar to Donkey Kong Country series sprites; while the finished game switched to traditional pixel art 2D sprites.
