Top: a promotional video for WarioWare Gold from Nintendo of Japan’s official YouTube channel included this scene of Kat and Ana fighting a samurai skeleton. The skeleton does not appear in the actual game.
Middle/bottom: this is actually a reference to the samurai skeleton that appeared in the intro to Kat and Ana’s story in the original WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames for the Game Boy Advance.

In the highest difficulty of the “Spin a Yarn” microgame in WarioWare: Touched, the sweater reveals Luigi when unrolled; there is otherwise no Mario- or Luigi-related content in the microgame. This is the only instance of a microgame in the WarioWare series that contains Luigi without also containing Mario.

Unused microgame found in the code of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, based on the Japanese-only F-1 Race for the Famicom; likely intended to be another one of 9-Volt’s microgames. The action prompt was not localized properly due to the game being unused, reading “Continues running”.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Games for the GameCube contains a special music video for the song “Four Seasons”, known as Kat and Ana’s theme song originating in WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgames for the GBA. Part of the music video features a scene of Kat and Ana running through a forest, which is in reality footage of a person holding up paper cutouts of Kat and Ana and running while holding them, superimposed over footage of a forest.

In WarioWare: Touched, Jimmy T.’s boss microgame, Rainbow Juice, has a special failure condition for simply not interacting with the console. If you don’t touch the touchscreen at all, the rainbow will very gradually fade, darkening the playing area. Once the rainbow fades completely, the bucket will tip over and tremble in near complete darkness as the microgame is declared failed. Since this is extremely difficult to see on a console, I have increased the contrast to make the animation visible.

This woman from the “Junk and My Trunk” microgame in WarioWare: Smooth Moves may be one of the least known fully-modeled human characters in the Mario franchise. It is impossible to encounter her while playing through the game’s story normally, as she only appears in Level 3 of the microgame, which can only be seen by repeatedly replaying Young Cricket’s stage. Why an asset as complex as a fully modeled human was created for such an uncommon scenario is unclear.
